When I place my order, will I be placed on a cutting roster?

ABSALUTELY NOT! All my precut quilt kits are already cut and packaged. They are ready to be mailed when you place your order. There is no excessive waiting at Quilt Kit Shop.

What kind of fabrics do you use in your kits?

We use 100% quilt quality cotton fabrics. We buy from many suppliers and use many different manufactures. When we get our fabric order in, if the fabric is not up to our high standard, we just wont use it in your kits. We want your quilt to last for many years like we want our quilts to last. All of the fabrics used in our quilt kits are cut right from the bolt.

Are the images accurate and to scale?

We take pride in all of the images of all the products on our site. Color and scale are very important to us as is portraying the images. However not all computer monitors will show the true color, so please do read the description. We do try to also give a good color description as well as a good photo image of all products.

Why do your listings say Approximate Finished Size

All of our kits are meticulously cut. Our instructions are based on using a ¼” seam allowance when sewing your blocks together. But we realize that not all sewing machines sew an exact ¼”. Not all presser feet are the same. So we say approximate. If you can sew an exact ¼” seam allowance, then your blocks will be the finished size as stated. But being off a scant, is OK also.

What length is the fabrics you sell?

Since we specialize in precut quilt kits. We have found most of our customers prefer to buy a smaller amount just for borders or a little sashing. So all of our fabrics are listed in ½ yard increments. Unless the particular ad states otherwise. But if you decide you need more then ½ a yard, and so do purchase. Your yardage will be cut continuous. So if you just want ½ yard, place 1 in the checkout. If you want 1 yard, then place 2 in the checkout. If you want 1-1/2 yards, then place 3 in the checkout. And so on. You get the idea.

Do you have a physical store?

Quilt Kit Shop is an internet quilt shop. We specialize in precut quilt kits in a variety of sizes and designs. We do not have your traditional brick shop along your traditional street. I am sorry to have to disappoint my customers that wish to walk into a store. Quilt Kit Shop is strictly e-Commerce. Not a brick and motor shop.

Do you have a catalog you mail out?

Since our inventory changes so much so fast we do not print a catalog that we mail out. What you see in our online shop is what we have on hand at that time. When we cut a new kit, we can usually get about 8-10 kits of that design. Usually when they sell out, they will not be made again. Since we love to design and cut these quilt kits, we are constantly working on new ideas to bring to you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. These credit cards are processed through our secure checkout system. We also accept PayPal payments.

After I place my order, how long will it take to arrive?

Orders are shipped by United States Postal Service usually within 24 hours of payment received. Not including weekends and holidays. Since we cannot predict how long postal service will take. We can only go by what the Postal Service estimates are. We use First Class and Priority mail. First Class mail usually take between 3-5 days to most locations. Priority mail is 2-3 days to most locations.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, orders can be cancelled. If the order has been shipped.

Is it really just $5.50 shipping, no matter how much I buy?

Yes, If you live in the Continental United States, and do not request any upgrades for your shipping. We will ship your entire order, no matter how much you buy for the flat rate fee of $5.50. So keep on shopping, you already paid your shipping fee!

Shipping will be $5.50 unless you choose a shipping upgrade.
