  • Our Comforter chart uses a 13" drop.
  • Our Coverlet chart uses a 16" drop.
  • Our Bedspread chart uses a 26" drop.

Some people like to cover their pillows with their quilt. To do this you need to add for a "tuck". The "tuck" is typically an additional 10" to the length. What is the difference between a comforter, coverlet and bedspread quilt?

  • A comforter is designed to sit atop the bed, covering just the top mattress.
  • A coverlet is designed to drop about 3 inches below the top mattress.
  • A bedspread is designed to completely cover the entire bed and drop to within ½ inch of the floor.
